Truganina’s Own Rising Star

This short news feature tells the inspiring story of 10-year-old Zoe, a gifted young singer from Truganina who’s already capturing national attention. From performing the national anthem at the Australian Open to starring in Tina Turner The Musical, Zoe is a rising star on the Australian stage. Produced for Wyndham TV, I took on full responsibility for filming and editing this story, as well as arranging the on-location shoot at Zoe’s home. The video blends intimate, cinematic B-roll-capturing quiet moments like Zoe brushing her hair or rehearsing with headphones-with dynamic performance footage and heartfelt family clips supplied by Zoe’s parents. An AI voiceover helps narrate Zoe’s journey, while the interview segment, framed to subtly include musical elements in the background, gives viewers a glimpse into the passion behind her voice.

Milones Tree Solutions

This video captures a full day of tree removal work by Milones Tree Solutions, filmed entirely on my mobile phone and edited in Final Cut Pro. Shot at a family member’s property, this piece was both a sentimental project and an opportunity to creatively document a visually rich process. I focused on storytelling through striking visuals and music, beginning with calm, colour-enhanced shots of the yard before work began and transitioning into the high-energy reality of chainsaws, harnesses, and wood chippers. The result is a short, cinematic portrayal of the transformation that tree work can bring to a space-complete with a custom animated outro that adds a light, professional finish.

LIT Rave Werribee

While attending the LIT event in Werribee-which features stunning installations, projections, and interactive art-I had the idea to turn the experience into a rave-like video. With the support of my brother and sister, I captured various visual elements like projections, laser lights, and smoke machines using my phone. I then creatively edited the footage, syncing it to electronic dance music to transform the event’s atmosphere into a vibrant, immersive rave experience.

Point Cook Queue Jumpers?

Armed with a tripod and a playful concept, I filmed drivers misusing a redeveloped intersection in Point Cook, turning a mundane traffic observation into a viral-worthy video. By adding a dynamic "scoreboard" (complete with ✅ and ❌ signs) and syncing reactions with comedic sound effects, I transformed raw footage into an entertaining social commentary. The video became one of Point Cook TV’s most-viewed early hits, proving how creativity can turn local issues into engaging content.

Midnight Mafia 2022

I channeled my passion for hardstyle into this high-energy edit, blending four tracks into a 100-second adrenaline rush. The video mirrors the event’s crescendo-opening with atmospheric arrivals, building through laser-lit chaos, and ending on a poignant tribute to the late artist Delete. Lens flares, flash transitions, and razor-sharp syncs tie the visuals to the music’s pulse, while the abrupt cut to black (and Ryan Biggs’ memorial) adds emotional weight. Proof that even in frenzy, editing can tell a story.

When a friend suited up as a TIE Pilot to raise funds for Cancer Council, I grabbed my camera to capture the magic. This video follows his whimsical interactions with kids at the community festival-blending playful B-roll of rides, games, and activities with the charm of an unexpected Star Wars guest. Set to uplifting music, the edit balances joy and purpose, turning a local event into a heartwarming highlight reel for a great cause.
